Brian Shuck is a water/wastewater engineer with 16 years of experience, passionate about applying virtual reality (VR), augmented reality, and mixed reality to municipal infrastructure projects. These visualizations effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders such as City council, planners, operators, and the general public. Brian is currently leading VR efforts for King County’s Georgetown Wet-weather Treatment Station Design in Seattle. His VR model of the influent pump station, equalization basin, and screening facility has helped inform the County’s operators regarding the station layout. Brian also works closely with other key VR leaders at CH2M globally to share best practices.
