Andrea Chang

Senior Sound Designer


Andrea is currently working as a Senior Sound Designer at Microsoft on the Central Audio team supporting audio for all HoloLens and Windows Experiences. Andrea transferred over from the HoloLens department in Microsoft where she was previously working as the Audio Lead on “Actiongram,” a HoloLens app developed by Microsoft currently in Beta. Previously, Andrea was an in-house sound designer at Electronic Arts, where she worked on the sound design, voiceovers, and music for their MOBA game title, “Dawngate.” She has also worked as an audio designer in the games industry for Tencent America, Airy Labs, and a plethora of social game companies such as RockYou, Booyah, Digital Chocolate, Bionic Panda Games, and Striiv, as well as IGF 2010 Mobile Finalists – Rocketcat Games, and Stewart Burns (writer/executive producer of “The Simpson’s”). 

Andrea is also experienced in composing film music and sound designing films. Her film scoring credits include films featuring George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Michael J. Fox, Harrison Ford,  Alice Cooper, Guillermo del Toro (“Pan’s Labyrinth,” “Hellboy,” “Hellboy II,”) and Hailee Steinfeld (“True Grit”).  As a film sound effects editor, she has worked on feature films featuring  Alexis Bledel (“Gilmore Girls”), Juno Temple (“The Dark Knight Rises”), and  Michael Angarano (“Forbidden Kingdom,” “Almost Famous”).
